The Planning Commission is scheduled to review three (3) land development applications,

Residents wishing to provide comments regarding any of the applications are encouraged to attend the July 9th Planning Commission meeting.
Per the public notice, there will be no remote access available during the July 9th Planning Commission meeting,
and individuals wishing to comment must attend in person.*

St. Paul Orthodox Church (Major Plan 2023-104)
A proposed Orthodox Church development at 670 South Cedar Crest Boulevard consisting of a sanctuary, chapel, fellowship hall, storage building, parking facilities, and related site improvements.
Nestlé Purina Wastewater Treatment Upgrades (Major Plan 2021-102)
A proposal to upgrade wastewater treatment facilities at 2050 Pope Road and 4535 Huckleberry Road, including a new treatment system, associated infrastructure, stormwater management improvements, and a discharge connection to Jordan Creek.
Project Atlas (Major Plan 2025-109)
A proposed data center campus on approximately 410 acres located at 2493, 2747, and 2807 North Cedar Crest Boulevard. The application includes three data center buildings totaling approximately 1.48 million square feet (492,285 square feet each), along with a 40,680-square-foot administration building and a 39,167-square-foot warehouse building, for a total campus building area of approximately 1.56 million square feet. The proposal also includes associated road improvements, utility infrastructure, stormwater management facilities, parking areas, and related site improvements.
The July 9th meeting is a Planning Commission meeting, during which the Commission will review these applications and provide comments and recommendations as part of the Township's land development review process.
Residents should be aware that Project Atlas will not be listed on or considered as an agenda item by the South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners public meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
*There will be no online option for the Planning Commission meeting on July 9th, due to the fact that a large crowd is expected because of the public’s interest in the projects listed on the agenda necessitating the move to Springhouse Middle School. With the change in venue, an online option for participation cannot be guaranteed. The priority is to accommodate as many interested residents as possible and the change in location will allow for that.
