N Whitehall Mail Ballots Reissued

Due to an error in the wording of the North Whitehall ballot question on North Whitehall ballots, corrected mail-in ballots are being sent to affected voters. Those voters should have received a letter of explanation from the Lehigh County Voter Registration Office. Replacement ballots have been sent out and should be received before election day, according to a township press release.

The new ballot will replace the old one.

When you receive your replacement ballot:
Option 1 — Complete the full ballot and return it to a drop box to be counted on Election Day.*
Drop box locations

Option 2 — Bring your entire packet with the unmarked replacement ballot and both envelopes to your polling place on Election Day, surrender it to the judge of elections and you will be permitted to vote in person.

For voters in North Whitehall Township who submit a corrected ballot, the county will count that corrected ballot in its entirety.
For voters who do not submit a corrected ballot, the county will still count their votes in all other contests and on all other ballot questions, but not on the township’s open space tax question.

If you do not receive your corrected ballot, you may vote by Provisional Ballot at your polling place on Election Day.

Residents with questions regarding this matter are asked to call the Lehigh County Voter Office at 610-782-3194.
