Some Lehigh County mail-in ballots sent this week contained errors. The county is reaching out to affected voters with options to receive a corrected ballot.
In the meantime, here’s what you can do:
1. Check your ballot – Make sure it reflects your current party registration and address.
Check Your Current Registration
2. Got a mail-in ballot you didn’t request? Don’t fill it out. It’s invalid. Vote in person on May 19. Find Your Polling Place.
3. Think your ballot is wrong? You have options:
▸ Visit the Voter Registration Office, 17 S. 7th St., Allentown, to swap it for a correct one.
▸ Call 610-782-3194 to confirm if your ballot is affected.
▸ Vote in person on May 19 – bring your full mail-in package to the polls to have it voided and then vote on the machine. If you don’t have the full mail-in package to bring to the polls, request a provisional ballot from the poll workers.
4. Have a correct ballot? If possible, return it to a drop box. If mailing — mail it by MAY 12.
24/7 access is available at the drop box at the Government Center, 17 S. 7th St., Allentown.
